Add, rename, and manage tanks cleanly while respecting plan limits and context integrity.

How to use this part of Reefly

  1. Name tanks clearly by purpose (display, frag, quarantine) for cleaner action mapping.
  2. Keep one record per physical system to avoid merged histories.
  3. If on Free, manage within one-tank limit or upgrade for multi-tank workflows.
  4. Use remove actions carefully; understand what history remains vs what unlinks.

Get the most out of it

  • Do not move livestock records between tanks casually; preserve true chronology.
  • Before deleting or clearing, export key tank context (CSV/PDF) for later reference.
  • For new systems, create the tank entry before your first quick reef check for better history continuity.
